Choose a Location

Select a spot for your reed diffuser where it won’t be knocked over. A central location in a room (like a coffee table or shelf) works best for even scent distribution.

Open the Bottle

Remove the cap or cork from the fragrance oil bottle. If there’s a protective seal, take that off carefully.

Insert the Reeds

Place the reed sticks into the bottle. Let them soak in the oil for about 1 hour.

Flip the Reeds

After the initial soak, flip the reeds to help start releasing the fragrance into the air.

Let It Diffuse

The reeds will absorb the oil and diffuse the scent slowly over time. The number of reeds used will affect the intensity — more reeds = stronger scent.

Flip Reeds Weekly

Flip the reeds once a week to refresh the fragrance. Be careful not to spill the oil when doing this.

Replace Oil and Reeds as Needed

Once the oil runs low (after a few weeks to a couple of months), replace both the oil and reeds. Used reeds get clogged over time and won’t diffuse well if reused.
